The Vermont Natural Resources Council and the Vermont Workers Center invite the public to the collectively owned and operated Langdon Street Cafe to view the debut of Robert Greenwald's latest film - 'Wal-Mart - The High Cost of Low Price.' Wal-Mart's rock bottom prices cost communities and people dearly in many, often hidden ways. Learn more about how that is true in a film which promises to offer a new perspective from the people most intimately affected by Wal-Mart. A short discussion will precede the film. There will be an opportunity after the screening to debrief on the film and discuss the issues and opportunities associated with Wal-Mart's growing presence in Vermont.
