The Vermont Natural Resources Council is holding a special showing of this film in an effort to get the message about the negative effects of Walmart out to the people of Vermont's North East Kingdom. The Kingdom currently does not have a single WalMart but one is now being proposed in Derby and is at the moment very well supported. The showing of this film, which will include a discussion at the film's conclusion, is one part of VNRC's campaign to help sustain our unique communities, cherish our open land, and protect our economy. The North East Kingdom is a very special and unique place, with its dairy farms, open fields, untouched forests, and hardy Vermonters, it is certainly a place worth fighting for.
